Inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle, Doodlie Do features the Carribean tinkle of the thumb piano. The lyrics, taken directly from the masterpiece, express an acceptance of the existensial nature of being human. The mood of the song goes from child-like playfulness accented by the Gopichand, to a heavier minor melancholly, and back again. Thank you for your works of brilliance, Kurt Vonnegut.
